Perspective Menu

When the menu is activated it pushes the page away to display the navigation menu.
Then the pushed away page disappears.
Is that the way it is supposed to operate?
I think the pushed away page should still display instead of disappearing.
I have only tried the demo but would like to know this before I purchase.
