I just downloaded this extension.

I tested it , but every time I send the message it says " Could not open socket ".

As written in the pdf accompanying help file, I gave to the guestbookdb.php file the cmod 644 code permission.

What I'm doing wrong here.

I'm using reChapta to controll the spam.

OK I found the issue.
It is related to my free host sever. PHP mail not enabled.

Now it look almost OK, but I can't use the email check function with it.

It seems it doesn't send any email verification link.

I changed the CHMOD of the db file from 644 to 777 but no success.

I tested the other functions (admin / automatic) and they works great.
I also disabled my email anti-spam secure filter, no way !!!!

Any idea !!!!

@MP3 it might have been best if you posted this at the following url as this is one of the official extensions and not a user made one that way Support/Pablo would read and be able to help you more with any issues regarding WB official extensions..
